Summary of Job Description: ASEC is looking for a Senior Analyst to assist with developing, maintaining, and upgrading Navy P-8A aircraft with new avionics and software media. This Senior Analyst will be responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery and use of software and preflight insertion data for the Increment 3 Block 2 (ECP 6) Combat System lab testing. 

  • Direct or coordinate TacMobile team within the IPT. 
  • Generate requirements for the development of TacMobile systems that allow full integration of the P-8A family of systems. 
  • Write technical reports or other documentation, such as status reports or bulletins, for use by IPT, test, and training staff, management, or customers.   
  • Coordinate with current P-8A TacMobile team and Fleet TOC/MTOC leadership to ensure the acquisition plan meets Fleet needs.
  • These tasks are not all inclusive. 
  • Additional duties may be required by the customer.

Qualifications in Education/Experience: A Bachelors degree from a school having a curriculum which was accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) is required. In lieu of a degree, 10 years of operational or test experience with MPRA avionics, software, and media is acceptable.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance Levels: This position requires a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Computer Skills: Employee must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Products. Employee must be able to adapt to evolving technology. Skill utilizing software tools for engineering is desired.
